These events expand upon the momentum of Hawaii Business Network’s 2011 Hawaii Body and Beauty Trade Fair plus other business-building and educational events supporting entrepreneurs and small businesses held earlier this year like “The Business of Art and Music”, “Talent Search for Hawaii Broadway Babies” and their “Health and Financial Fitness Series”.  

Premiere Day Workshops: Thursday 10/25 from 1pm - 5pm at Aunty Sally’s Lu’au Hale. 

Hear local Thought Leaders, some of whom are world-renowned experts, share their expertise on the topics of Marketing and Publishing, Health and Beauty, Arts and Music, Aquaculture, Farming and Livestock, Agriculture, Science and Technology. Registration begins at 12 noon.  

From 2pm - 3pm a keynote presentation entitled: The Art of Business Consciousness: How to Increase the Impact of Your Mission, Your Message and Your Sales With Joint Venture Partnerships will be given by Best-Selling Author and International Speaker Ken Foster of Premier Coaching.  

SpeedNet Evening Networking Event and Dinner: Thursday 10/25 from 5pm - 8:30pm at Aunty Sally’s Lu’au Hale; Registration and Dinner from 5pm - 6pm.  After the workshops, stay for dinner and network with speakers and fellow attendees using a fun process likened to business musical chairs.  Speakers will first give a brief overview of their work, then the exchange begins with attendees guaranteed to receive face-time with each guest presenter.

Hawaii Business Fairs Main Event: Friday 10/26 and Saturday 10/27 from 9am - 6pm at the Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium. Visit, support and learn from local vendors and exhibiting organizations innovating in the areas of Marketing and Publishing, Health and Beauty, Arts and Music, Aquaculture, Farming and Livestock, Agriculture, Science and Technology.

Experience a friendly trade fair environment with dancing and live musical entertainment, demonstrations, displayed visual art, healing modality treatments, mini-workshops and food available for purchase.

Robotics demonstrations by Dale Olive & Co. and his Waiakea Robotics team will take place both days at the Civic.

Attend Thursday, Friday and Saturday’s events for $25.  For Thursday Premiere Day Workshop only, the investment is $10 pre-sale or $15 the day-of.  For SpeedNet and Dinner only, the investment is $15 pre-sale or $20 the day-of.  Friday and Saturday events at the Civic are free to attend.  

Keeping in line with the theme of innovation, event Sponsor De Luz Chevrolet will have electric cars from it’s fleet on display on the floor and two trips to Las Vegas from event Sponsor Boyd Vacations Hawaii will be raffled off, one on Friday and another on Saturday.  Each attendee receives an complimentary entry to the drawing and must be present to win. Additional entries may be purchased for $2/piece.
